Welcome to the Junction!

Growing up in a small town in North Carolina, I learned very early on what a Junction was. A junction in my eyes is a place where we have to stop and figure out where we are going and what we are doing. Welcome to the Junction, where life's choices and little things are to be explored!

The Art of Snoring

I never realized my dog could snore louder than my husband….   Well y’all za’ hubby is in the field training.  Sidenote:  I made the mistake once upon a time of asking “what kindof training” and him being a smartypants and having watched the Bill Murray move “Stripes” one too many times answered with…. “Amy training Sir”.  I never asked again….  Now the dog snoring.  My precious little pup weights about 50 lbs.  He is the sweetest thing on 4 legs, except when the sun sets and the moon starts to rise in the sky.  Then he becomes a terror of the night with this earth shattering….snoring.

And I never realized it until I made the mistake of letting him sleep in the bedroom with me one lonely night while za’ hubby was away.  That eventually turned into sleeping in the bed with me.  and he takes up more room than za’ hubby  does, just so y’all know.  He also snores louder than za’ hubby.  Well the other night I was all alone in my little ol’ government owned quarters, aka on post housing, aka apartment, aka the downfall of my demise.  And my sweet little angel, Rowdy (note the sarcasm) was begging for mama (me) to pet him.  Well I did, and he then nudged, and nudged again until he made his way on the bed snuggled up at my feet.  And then it happened….snoring. At first I thought it was a train coming through my bedroom, then I realized it was indeed the little angel himself, snoring.  Today at my junction, I am in need of ear plugs.

  2. Its so funny how animals impact and change our lives. Rowdy has completely changed za' hubby & I's life for the better, even if he does snore.... a LOT!
